This is the Spanish and English prayers of the Padre Nuestro, Credo and Ave Maria used in Umbanda from Argentina and other countries that practice Umbanda in South America.  It is used by both Spiritists and Umbandistas and I have incorperated them into my prayers  as they work well within the Sanse tradition, as well as Espiritismo.

Traditionally speaking the prayer of the Padre Nuestro, the Credo and the Ave Maria are some of the most beloved prayers amongst Hispanics.  They are used in times of great happiness as well as times of great stress.  The Padre Nuestro is one of the first prayers the majority of Hispanics learn from heart. 

Many of my Puerto Rican and Hispanic clients are not Sancistas or Espiritistas but of a Christian faith and when I perform cleansing or rompimientos, I respect them and recite these prayers.

My Abuelita was an Espiritista, but like many women of her times, she was illiterate, but she knew by heart and Incorporated all her Catholic and Spiritist prayers.  This one is for you Abuelita Juana.

Padre Nuestro

Padre nuestro que estas en los cielos, en los mares, en las matas y en todos los mundos habitados.

Santificado sea tu nombre, por tus hijos, la naturaleza, por las aguas, por la luz y por el aire que respiramos.

Que tu reino, reino de bien, de amor y de fraternidad nos una a todos y a todo lo que creasteis, en torno a la sagrada cruz y a los pies del Divino Salvador y Redentor.  Que tu voluntad, nos conduzca siempre para el culto del amor y de la caridad.

Danos ahorra y siempre, la voluntad firme, para ser virtuosos y útiles a nuestros semejantes.
Danos nuestro Señor, el pan del cuerpo y del espíritu, el fruto de las matas, el agua de las fuentes, para nuestro sustento material y espiritual.

Perdónanos, si merecen nuestras faltas y danos el sublime sentimiento del perdón, para quien nos ofenden.

No nos dejes sucumbir, ante las luchas sin sabores, ingratitudes, tentaciones de los malos espíritus e ilusiones pecaminosas de la materia.

Envía Padre Nuestro, un rayo de tu divina complacencia, luz y misericordia para tus hijos pecadores que aquí trabajamos por el bien de la humanidad.   Dadnos Paz, Luz, Progreso y Justicia.
Amen.

Padre Nuestro. (Our Father)

Our Father who resides in the Skies, the Oceans, the plants, and within every habitable world.
Holy is thy name, for thy children of nature, of the waters, the light and the air we breath.
May your Kingdom of goodness, love and fraternity, unite all that you have created  in unison and in accordance to the sacred cross of our Savior and Redeemer. May your will lead us into the path of love and charity.

Give us know and always the strength to be useful and virtuose to our fellow brethren. 
Give us Our Lord, the bread of the body and of the spirit. the fruits of the harvest, and the fluids of the fountains, so that they may sustain us physically and spiritually.

Forgive us our trespasses and sins and give us the sublime desire to  forgive those who trespass against us.

Lead us not to succumb to fight without a just cause, nor let us be ungrateful, or fall into the temptations of evil spirits and sinful dreams.

Our Father send us a ray of your divine light and mercy to us your sinful children who come here to work and labor for the greater goodness, wellbeing, and wellfair of all humanity. Give us Peace, Light, Progress and Justice.

Credo de Sanse

Creo en Papa Buen Dios Todopoderoso, Omnipotente y Supremo que todo lo puede, que me hizo e hizo al mundo.

Creo en el Gran Solier Planetario que es nuestro Redentor.

Creo en Jesús Cristo nuestro Ángel Protector, que sufrió por nosotros en la cruz.

Creo en los Misterios y en los Emisarios Divinos, que nos trajeron a la vida por voluntad del Majestuoso Buen Dios Todopoderoso.

Creo en el Espíritu Santo y en la Santa Madre de Jesús.

Creo en la Ley de la Reencarnación de las almas, en la Justicia Divina, en la pluralidad de los mundos, según la Ley del Karma.

Creo en la Santísima Trinidad, en la vida que se renueva y en su eternidad.

Creo en la comunicación de los Guías Espirituales, encaminándonos en la caridad y la práctica del bien.

Creo en la espiritualidad del Sance y que Dios es Padre de todos.

Creo en la invocación, la plegaria y la ofrenda, como acto de Fe.

Creo en el punto firmado, en el punto cantado y en los sagrado puntos recivido.

Creo en la estrella y en la cruz. Creo en el Sanse como Espiritualidad y Religion Redentora, capaz de llevarnos por el camino de la evolución, hasta nuestro Dios.

Creo y vivo según el Evangelio de Jesús y en la comunión del amor a Dios.

Creo en todo esto ahora y por siempre y por los siglos de los siglos.  Amen. 

Sanse Creed

I Believe in God, all Powerful, Supreme and Omnipotent, creator of all there is, was and ever will be.

I Beleive in the light of the Planetary Star,Gran Solier as our  Redeemer.

I Beleive in Jesus Christ, our protective angel that for our sins suffered and died on the Cross.

I believe in the Mysteries knowm as the Loa and their Divine Messengers the Emissary, which were brought to life by the will of the Almighty Good Lord.

I Believe in the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Mother of Christ.

I believe in the Law of Reincarnation of the soul, in Divine Justice, in the plurality of worlds, according to the Law of Karma.

I believe in the Holy Trinity, renewing life for all eternity.

I believe in the communication with ones Spirit Guides, and ones dead which leads us in the practice of charitable and good work.

I Believe in the ways of Sance and that God is the Father of all creation.

I believe in  invocation,  in prayers and in offerings, as an act of faith.

I believe in the signed Mysteries, the Mysteries which are sung and the sacred  Mysteries recieved.

I believe in the star and in the cross. I believe in Sance as a form of redeeming  Spirituality, able to lead us down the path of evolution and to our God.

I believe and live in accordance to the Gospel of Jesus and the communion and love of God.
I believe in all this now and forever and . Amen.

Ave María

Dios te Salve María llena eres de gracia el Padre Celestial es contigo. Bendita tú eres entre todas las mujeres y bendito es el fruto de que vuestro vientre nació, aquel que es Jesús, nuestro tan Divino y querido Maestro.

Santa María, Madre de Jesús, Madre de la humanidad entera. Apiádate Señora de nosotros, ruega, pide e implora al Padre por nosotros, antiguos pecadores, espíritus atrasados que somos o buena y Divina Madre ahora y en la hora de nuestra muerte por todo y siempre. Amen

Hail Mary

Hail Mary full of grace, our Heavenly Father is with you. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of your womb was born, who is Jesus, our much loved Divine Master.

Holy Mary, Mother of Jesus, Mother of all humanity. Have mercy on us Lady, pray, ask and beg the Father for us sinners ancient spirits that are overdue or good and Divine Mother now and at the hour of our death for all and forever. Amen

Nuestro padre, que en el cielo estas, Señor de tierra y agua.  Señor de luna y sol, ven a, nosotros, bueno, alto, grande, y generoso.   Darnos a nosotros, lluvia, planta y pan. Espíritu malo no, fantasmas no.  Espíritus bueno sí, de Dios siervo yo, Así sea. 

Our father who residea within the heavens, Lord of the earth and seas. Lord of the moon and sun, see, we, well, tall, big and generous. Give us the rains of the Skies, the plants of the earth and the bread to sustain us. No evil spirit, not ghosts. Good spirits even of God servant I, Amen.
